Malik Habib

Malik Mohammad Habib Khan is a former Federal Interior Minister of Pakistan Interim Government and conducted General Elections 2013 with splendid success.

He was born in Kahuta, District Rawalpindi in the Awan tribe. He belongs to an honourable family with a military background and considered as a Pride of his tribe. His grand father was in British Army. His first cousin Flight Lieutenant Ghulam Murtaza Malik was declared as the martyr of IndoPakistani War of 1971 and received TamghaiJurat. His ancestor migrated from Pind Dadan Khan in the 16th century. Malik Habib was also a bright student he completed his Matriculation from Government High School Kahuta with distinction and his name is displayed on the honour board of the school.
